"Herd Bull Euro" is a European mounts taxidermy company located in Belgrade, Montana just outside of Bozeman. European mounts are sometimes referred to as skull mounts, euro mounts or western mounts. Only the skull is displayed, along with the horns or antlers if they are present. The head of the animal is boiled and whitened preserving memories of your adventure for yourself and future generations.

Protect Your Trophy

Proper care of your trophy will reduce the amount of labor needed to create a European Mount. Although it is still possible to have a beautiful finished product the additional labor needed will add to the cost of the mounting process. Please follow these simple guidelines when possible.

1. Cut the head off wherever you feel comfortable. One can saw the head off or take it off at the ball joint.

2. Do not skin the head unless you know what you are doing. Improper skinning can create knife marks which will end up in the finished product. There will be an additional charge to remove knife marks if present.

3. Freeze the head or bring it directly to Herd Bull Euro if possible. The longer you let your head sit the more leathered and maggot filled it will become. This applies to skinned heads as well. An additional $30 fee will be applied to maggot filled heads.
